Monthly Minis
Fredericton Disc Golf Monthly mini series
This Disc Golf season Fredericton Disc Golf will be hosting a number of Monthly Mini tournaments. These tournaments will act as fundraisers for the club. The monthly mini series will take place in a variety of areas including non disc golf courses. We are excited to give our members the chance to play new courses throughout the season. Courses will be set up the morning of the events and will be torn down once the event has completed.
2025 Monthly Minis will come with a twist! All minis will have a unique format to keep the fun in the sport! Let’s get back to the basics of the sport and have some fun out there.
Cost: $10 for members. $15 for non members. All are welcome!!
Prizes: A variety of prizes will be offered to our top finishers. Members will be playing for the #1 Tag, all members will be awarded a tag based on their placing at the event (no tags will be awarded to non-members).
Royal 9
For our first Monthly Mini of the year we return to the Royal 9 Disc Golf course with a twist.
The round will be played with Ript Revenge cards. Each group will receive a pack of Ript Revenge cards to add a some excitement to the round.
Expect to see some tricky throws unorthodox approaches.
Fulton Heights
Building on the fun from our first Monthly Mini, we are going to take inspiration from Coastal Disc Golf’s event by using their Mully Madness Format.
Each player will have mulligan and reverse mulligan tokens to be played amongst their card throughout your round.
Expect some big scoring swings with shots coming off the board!
NMES
The village of New Maryland welcomed us with open arms and we will return in 2025! With the hopes of encouraging a permanent course we are looking to showcase the sport once again.
The format will be hidden until the event, expect the unexpected for this one folks!
Battle of the Bridge
A staple in our city and our sport. The Northside is looking to prove a point after a statement win by the Southside in 2024.
The only multi-round mini will include individual and team rounds where both sides will be looking to earn points and put there home side on top.
Northside vs Southside
The annual Northside vs Southside tournament will wrap up the summer on Labor Day weekend. This is the only multi-round monthly mini of the year! With a few extra bragging rights on the line to see which side of Fredericton holds the better group of disc golfers!
Experimental Farm
We finally make our return to one of the most talked about pop-up courses in the area!
New Maryland Elementary School
Kicking off the start of Summer we will be hosting this Monthly Mini at our first full pop-up course. A Learn to Play will be hosted following our tag round again. Anyone of all ages looking to try the sport at a beginner friendly course is welcome!
Nashwaaksis Middle School
Monthly Mini at Nashwaaksis Middle School. Existing baskets will be used along with additional baskets to enhance the current course!
Learn to Play Event: Following our competitive tag round in the morning we will be offering a Learn to Play event for anyone looking to try out the sport! All ages are invited to attend!
